Considering the variety of products, containing asbestos, used in the past on building sites, the workers who take part in refurbishment of these sites (electricians, plumbers, craftsmen, painters etc..) are frequently exposed to a risk from airborne asbestos fibres.
Prior to any intervention, on one hand, it is necessary to assess the risks of exposure to carcinogenic, mutagens or toxic to reproduction substances. And on the second hand it is necessary to inform and assess the workers on the risk of exposure and the protection methods to use to protect their health from possible consequences , including long term exposure.
